Even if the Russians accept their price demands, the Chinese will again make unacceptable demands. Naturally, they refuse to buy gas through this pipe. Price doesn't matter here. It is a geopolitical issue. The problem is not the price of gas but the fact that the pipeline passes through Mongolia.
